Who are we?

Catherine and Ryan fell in love in high school and immediately began dreaming together about the life they would build... the homes they would share, the children they would raise. Previously, they rehabbed a century-old bungalow room-by-room (with many DIY projects). 

Catherine Turner

Catherine proudly labels herself a "feminist homemaker." She delights in tending to the ever-evolving family home: making it comfortable, beautiful, warm, and functional. She holds the grand vision of Goodwinslow and the decorating/design concerns about this place. She is the woman for this job. 

Catherine's current focuses outside of this restoration are her community/advocacy work centering on women's issues and the all-important joy of rearing the littlest Turners. 

Ryan Turner

Ryan is a true renaissance man. From HVAC repair to piloting aircrafts, bread making to 3D printing, he has the ability to learn in a couple of days enough to make most professional builders and artisans stare, slack-jawed (really). He is the man for this job. 

Ryan's current focuses outside of this restoration are his career in tech and the all-important joy of rearing the littlest Turners. 

The littlest Turners

The littlest Turners must be mentioned here. Picking flowers, perfecting the art of swinging under the "picnic tree,” and building fairy villages... the littlest Turners reminds us daily that the delights of living here far outweigh any of its stressors.
